Sharing information with teachers as a counselor

I think one of the hardest part of my job is knowing what teachers want to know about their students and what are they fine not knowing. Obviously, there are some things I cannot share because of confidentiality, but there are some things that students are okay sharing with their teachers. I just worry that I may bombard teachers with too much information and it will just be another email. At the high school we are implementing the Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) to share information, but it is not highly used yet. Any ideas?
